Mark Sullivan became a full fledged realtor in 2007, working with his family in Haywood County as a commercial REALTOR® and residential agent. When the real estate market took a downturn, he started selling for Asheville Realty and Associates with Charlie Giezentanner. Charlie’s business was built on doing federal foreclosures at the time, which worked well in the recessed economy. Mark was a multi-million dollar producer for several years, working as a buyers agent there. The foreclosures he sold spanned 5 counties, so Mark became very familiar with the area. Most of the home sales were for residents coming in from other states. Mark’s detailed knowledge of the area proved to be very useful for out of state clients.
In 2012 Mark began working again as a commercial REALTOR® and is now brokering a large commercial subdivision in McDowell County which includes a Holiday Inn Express as the anchor business. Mark has a knack for reaching the movers and shakers of national commercial chains to persuade them to make smart financial moves to invest in the right areas suitable for their businesses.
Mark is also a real estate investor and works in property management. In 2013, Mark started his own company buying and renting homes. He now owns and manages seven rental homes in three counties and two Airbnb’s. With years of experience fixing automobiles and working on homes and mechanical systems, Mark’s experience is invaluable diagnosing and repairing any issues he runs across. He is exceptional at knowing what may present a home buyer with a large issue and expense that may price them out of purchasing a home or whether the issue is easily remedied.
He became an agent for Divitia Realty in Asheville in 2018 because he felt that their outlook on real estate was progressive and their online presence and marketing exceptional within this social media driven market. Let Mark help you with your commercial ventures, investments or finding your next new mountain home.
